Mission Statement

The mission of the Lansdowne Arts Committee, serving on behalf of The Lansdowne Economic Development Corporation, is to create, foster, and promote Lansdowne's identity as a vibrant and inspiring artistic community. We are dedicated to nurturing creative expression, enhancing community engagement, stimulating economic growth, preserving and celebrating Lansdowne's diversity, and cultivating arts education and access. Through collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to excellence, we aim to strengthen Lansdowne's artistic ecosystem, enhance its cultural vibrancy, and create a lasting legacy that celebrates the transformative power of the arts.

Our vision is to see Lansdowne become a recognized hub for artistic excellence, where creativity flourishes and the arts are integrated into the fabric of daily life. We envision a community where every resident, regardless of background or ability, has the opportunity to engage with and be inspired by a diverse range of artistic experiences. Lansdowne will be renowned for its vibrant arts scene, attracting visitors from near and far who come to immerse themselves in its rich cultural offerings. As a result of our efforts, Lansdowne will thrive as a dynamic and inclusive artistic community, with the arts serving as a catalyst for social, economic, and cultural growth.
